Congratulations to Leanne Butler, who has successfully scaled the heights of Mount Kilimanjaro, raising wonderful donations for the Southern Spinal Injuries Trust. Leanne is pictured here after her epic trek, which she described as the hardest thing she has ever done. On the day of the final push to the summit, Leanne’s group left camp at 1am in the morning, battling freezing wind and altitude. Leanne’s expedition was organised by specialists Discover Adventure , and she was inspired to undertake the challenge for SSIT because her father Brian Roberts suffered a spinal cord injury in a motorcycle accident. You can add your donation to Leanne’s fundraising page, together with a message of congratulation. Thank you Leanne!
