The Vitality Big Half
The Vitality Big Half is a community running festival in London on Sunday 1 March 2020. This one-day event offers a host of running distances, from a challenging half marathon to a free one-mile course, as well as a family-friendly festival of food, music and activities. Take part with friends and family or support from the sidelines and choose from one of the following:
- The Vitality Big Half: London’s community half marathon starts at 09:00 by Tower Bridge and finishes at the iconic Cutty Sark in Greenwich. Be inspired by some of the world’s best athletes and the thousands of participants of all ages, abilities and backgrounds as you run the scenic 13.1-mile course through London. If this is your first half marathon you’ll get support every step of the way from the cheering crowds and live music entertainers along the route.
- The Little Half: This is the perfect opportunity to take part in your first official timed running event. Starting at Southwark Park, the route follows the last 2.4 miles of the Vitality Big Half course to the stunning Finish Line by the Cutty Sark in Greenwich. It’s free for under 18-years-old and just £5 for everyone else.
- The Vitality Big Mile: For the first time in 2019, we invite you to join The Vitality Big Mile – a free, fun, family-friendly mass-participation event around Greenwich Park. This is the perfect event for first-time runners or walkers, families with children of all ages and anyone looking to get more healthy and active.
- The Vitality Big Festival: Celebrate all that London has to offer at The Vitality Big Festival in Greenwich Park until 16:00. Join friends and family at this free festival and enjoy some of London’s best food, music, family-activities, sport and wellbeing. Not taking part in a running event?
