Big Bike Challenge 2019

On a glorious summers day, the Big Bike Challenge this year was a resounding success with 50 riders cycling 200 miles in a day covering 4 counties.  After a very early 5am start, the full English breakfast at 7am was gratefully received and all riders continued to be well fed throughout the day until the last group finished soon after 11pm.   From Salisbury Cathedral, through the Somerset Levels to the sea front at Burnham, historic Muchelney Abbey to Christchurch and back to Salisbury, it really was a wonderful day.

Supported by Leigh Day Solicitors and working in association with SRAMcc.

With thanks to Fyffes Bananas, Reeves the Baker, Utta Nutta Peanut Butter, Erdinger Beer, Maggie Fisher from Matrix Wellbeing, Suzy Willis Physiotherapy and Mel from Totally Wonderfuel.

Grateful thanks to all our volunteers on the day.

Money raised will go towards hand cycles and other specialist equipment.
