Donations in memory of Horatio Chapple will fund an accessible garden at the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre.

People with spinal cord injury are encouraged to apply to SSIT for help with the provision of equipment needed to promote independence and good health.
Please help us continue our work providing equipment and facilities for the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre and assisting people with spinal cord injury living in the region.
The Southern Spinal Injuries Trust (SSIT) raises money to provide extra equipment, over and above that provided by the NHS, for the patients cared for at the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre. The Trust also benefits people with spinal cord injuries living in the South and South West of England by funding essential equipment which helps them lead an independent life.
Our current focus is to fund the building of a specially designed rehabilitation garden at the Spinal Centre. 'Horatio's Garden' will encourage rehabilitation and wellbeing through gardening as well as providing an important social area outside the hospital environment for patients and their families.
