Trustee of SSIT, Andrew Cumming made an auction promise at a SSIT fund raising event, to cook a 3 course Dinner for 12 – he kept his promise & 12 lucky guests were fed like royalty !
The guests started off the evening with delicious Canapés, then for dinner they had beautifully presented Pork Terrine & mouth watering warm bread, grilled Sea Bass with Samphire, Apple Tart & Passion Fruit Ice Cream, followed by coffee & home made Truffles. Andrew and his sous chef Georgie Cumming excelled themselves over the hot stove. Chairman of SSIT Jeremy Major made the perfect butler along with well behaved waitresses Jo Major, Gilly Cumming & Torli Downes. It wasn’t quite Upstairs Downstairs but did have a lot of humour and a pinch of drama!
