A very colourful and energetic evening in Liss, East Hampshire, when the Keep Fit group held their annual fundraising evening on 4 June. Patricia Edwards and her colleagues had nominated the Southern Spinal Injuries Trust as the supported charity, and trustee Emma Crofton was invited along to give a short talk about SSIT to start the evening’s activities. Emma was followed by demonstrations of fitness routines, including the Thursday Evening Group who had organised t-shirts featuring the SSIT logo. The evening was very well attended by many past members, including one remarkable lady who only retired from teaching ten years ago, when she celebrated her 80th birthday! The evening finished with a sale of homemade cakes, and a raffle. A very big Thank You to everyone who attended, supporting people with spinal cord injury.
