Over 100 guests helped support SSIT at an Indian Dinner in Salisbury’s Guildhall on 14 November. Hosted by Anba Soopramanien, Consultant at The Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre and SSIT trustee, the dinner raised over £9,000.
Bollywood music, stunning silk saris and rose petal strewn tables helped transform the venue and set the scene for a really special evening. Guests were treated to a delicious three course dinner of authentic Indian food prepared by Veda Soopramanien and her team of helpers. During the meal a performance of Southern Indian music was given by Sathya Chandresekaran, with after-dinner cabaret provided by the funny and original Instant Sunshine.
