St John Singers Concert, St Martin’s Church, Salisbury

The St John Singers Concert will include the highly popular Durufle Requiem. The concert starts at 7.30pm and all proceeds will benefit SSIT. Tickets (£10) will be available from Musicroom, 5 Catherine St, Salisbury. Tel: 01722 322278.

Fonthill Fiesta

Lady Margadale, trustee of SSIT, is hosting a summer party for 350 guests on the Fonthill Estate in July. Guests will be invited to bring their own picnics and enjoy a fun evening with plenty of entertainment and an auction. All proceeds with benefit SSIT.

High Sheriff’s Gala Concert, Wells Cathedral

Join us for a Son et Lumiere production to celebrate the history of the cathedral from its inception 800 years ago. This colourful story will be ready by Jonathan Dimbleby and accompanied by music from the Cathedral Choir, Wells Cathedral School and Millfield School. A visual display in this stunning location will complete what promises to be a memorable and spiritual experience.

Half of the proceeds will be donated to SSIT.
Tickets (£10-35) will be available from mid-summer from the following venues:

Have you and your friends ever fancied abseiling 70ft down the tower of a medieval castle? Well here’s your chance!

Mr & Mrs Weld have kindly given SSIT permission to use Lulworth Castle for an abseiling event on November 2.

We’re looking for 140 volunteers to take part. Registration costs £20 and a minimum of £100 sponsorship is required.

Please read the information sheet below and, if you’d like to take part, download the registration form. Please send your completed form with a cheque for £20 (registration fee) made payable to SSIT to: SSIT, 21 Chipper Lane, Salisbury, SP1 1BG. We’ll send you an Abseiler’s Pack.
