Welcome
The Southern Spinal Injuries Trust has a very simple goal ...
To positively impact on the health and quality of life of spinally injured patients – both in the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre and
ex-patients - assisting with the provision of equipment, which enables greater independence and participation in society again.
“Life can be very difficult to cope with when you are affected by a severe paralysis and those things that make life easier are often beyond your means. My new powered wheelchair is going to make such a fantastic difference to the quality of my life, and that of my dog Spook who is going to get the most fantastic walks! It is going to make a hugely beneficial impact on my life.”
Mark Rothery, ex-patient of the DOCSTC and beneficiary of SSIT
